This is how our patient's feel about Dr. Richer and the Foot, Ankle & Leg Center. These are various reviews found across the internet.

  • Staff is extremely helpful, little to no wait, Dr was concerned and knowledgeable, spent all the time necessary so that you feel like you get your problem solved or something is being done to address any issues. They have their own equipment, so that you do not have be sent to another lab for X-ray and Dr. Richer himself is very nice, I would recommend Dr Richer to anyone that needs a good Foot Dr. he just does excellent work! I was truly impressed and in the medical world that doe not happen much anymore.

  • Honestly, the best foot doctor in town!I have struggled for years with my diabetes and got to the point where i had lost a lot of feeling in my legs and feet. I went to a number of doctors without any results, I was referred to Sonoran Foot Specialists by a friend and visited with Dr. Richer. He ended up performing surgery on me to repair some of the nerve damage in my legs and feet and it worked! I have a lot more feeling and its not a burden to go on a walk anymore. Dr. Richer was very professional and knowledgeable about my condition and made me feel very comfortable. I also never had to wait for very long to see Dr. Richer either which i really appreciate. If you need a good podiatrist, i strongly recommend Dr. Richer and Sonoran Foot Specialists.

  • I am a diabetic with foot ulcer issues. Dr. Richer has healed my ulcers and helped me stay healthy. He has also ended my husband's chronic heel pain with his shoe inserts. I also recommended him to my boss who is very happy. Dr. Richer is innovative but with a conservative approach. He is caring and listens-excellent, excellent doctor. A rare fine-you will not be sorry.

  • Spent lots of time with me for a mysterious foot problem. He resolved the problem in one visit. Excellent physician

  • I found Dr. Richer through my medical plan, and I am glad I did. Dr. Richer really listened to my problems and issues, and truly cared about my problem. I have a flat arch, so he suggested some orthodics, which would make my hips and knees feel better while running, as well as everydy walking. I suggested Dr. Richer to a friend on mine, and she really liked him. I will definately go to Dr. Richer, for any other podiatry needs.

  • I was referred to Dr Richer by my sister who he did foot surgery on. I had recently been having some arch pain in my feet. Dr Richer was able to make some orthotics for me that cured me of my foot pain. I was very impressed by Dr Richers knowledge and friendliness. I would highly recommend Dr Richer to anyone who has foot problems.

  • Dr Richer has been my podiatrist for the last three years.  I am a diabetic with foot ulcers and he has been terrific.  He is innovative but with a conservative approach.  He has helped me heal my ulcers.  I was in the hospital about six months ago for an infection and he treated the ulcer which cleared up and no lasting effects from the infection.

  • My husband has gone to him for heel pain and with the inserts he did for his shoes it has cleared up.  I also recommended my boss who is very happy.  He is a great doctor who cares and listens.  I recommend him highly-great person, great doctor who gets results.
  • Dr Richer, is the most far best leg /foot wound care doctor's in Scottsdale Az.. I highly recommend any patient who is need of leg / foot ulcer wound care to see Dr Richer. I've been under Dr Richer's care for a leg ulcer, for the past 2 months. Its completely healed and now I can reschedule my hip replacement. His office staff is friendly and outgoing. The wait time in the waiting / exam room very minimal. Thank you Dr Richer for getting the ulcer on my leg to heal as the other podiatrist I saw wasn't able to get it to heal. You knew the correct methods of treatment for that ulcer to heal and for that, I am extremely grateful to you &  you're staff.  God Bless you for you are a terrific doctor. Who knows what he is doing. Sincerely, Irene C. Scottsdale AZ
  • Visiting Dr. Richer was the best decision I could have made. Another surgeon performed surgery on my right foot and after healing I experienced a sharp pain in between my toes when l put pressure on the ball of my foot. I thought this problem could not be helped but Dr. Richer diagnosed my problem immediately and let me know it was actually quite common. Dr. Richer knew exactly what to do to treat this problem and presented all available options. Dr. Richer was very professional, personable and informative. He listened to what I had to say and was caring and knowledgeable. Additionally his staff was very helpful and efficient. I felt that Dr. Richer & his staff genuinely care about their patients. I am now completely pain free! I would highly recommend Dr. Richer to anyone that has foot problems however big or small.
  • A few years ago, Dr. Richer literally saved my foot!  I had a horribly infected foot exacerbated by my diabetes.  We thought he would lose the foot.  Through Dr. Richer's sustained care and treatment the foot has healed.  He is our "miracle worker".  He has performed several surgeries for my diabetes related treatment with great success. My wife has visited his office for her own ankle injury and we will continue to trust him with any of our feet, ankle or leg issues. The Doctors professionalism, comforting, and pleasant manor provides the reassurance we are in good hands.
  • Dr Richer is an awesome doctor.  My son came very close to loosing his leg to complications of diabetes but Dr Richer took the time and skill to work with us and save my son's foot and leg.  And thanks to Dr Richer, my son was able to walk down the isle with his bride on both of his legs. I honestly don't know what we would have done without him.  Thanks for being such a skilled and caring doctor - Terry S. & John Meade

  • Dr. Richer is very knowledgeable and explains things clearly.  I had pressure callouses on my left foot.  I had surgery by a different podiatrist for the same problem on my right foot.  Dr. Richer said that would be one possibility, but suggested that we try some pads first to relieve pressure.  He shaved some of the callous away, and then built pads on an insole right there in the office.  I left with a solution, knowing what the options were if the problem returned.  The office staff was highly professional and very helpful.  This is what a medical office and professional should be.

  • Dr. Richer was the 3rd podiatrist I went to and without hesitation the best experience I had. The other two doctors were Dr. Bates in South Scottsdale and Dr. Price (who works with "renowned" Dr.   ). Dr. Bates was friendly but I had read great reviews about Dr. Richer and have to second Irene on the quality of his services. I went to Dr. Richer mainly to get a 2nd opinion after being strongly suggested by Dr. Price that I would need to have surgery, the sooner the better, for a tear in my right toe that I had due to a soccer injury. He took a look at my MRI and was patient and helpful in explaining not only his opinion of the diagnosis made by the radiologist but also that my big toe would be already leaning in and in need of surgery if it were the case. He told me that I just need to take it easy (I play tennis, soccer and workout each week) and that in a month we'll meet up. Probably my foot doctor of choice if need be in the future.
  •  Poor circulation caused problems with my feet.  Dr. Richer treated me from diagnosis to surgery. His report card reads A+. Paul B.

  • On a scale of 1 to 10, ten being best, my experience in your facility was in the hundreds. I was totally pleased with all aspects, and every one I met. I had been to a large hospital and all they did was cause pain. They couldn't find the problem and only added to the pain. I will recommend you to everyone I communicate with. I couldn't be happier with the results I received.

  • Pressure callouses have built up on the ball of my left foot. Another podiatrist had surgically removed a similar callous on my right foot two years ago. Dr. Richer said that surgery was a possibility, but suggested some padded insoles to try first. He explained things very clearly, and showed me a foot skeleton model to see exactly how the rubbing is occurring. He shaved part of the callous away without any pain. He cut and built the padding for my shoe right there, and I walked out with the new insoles. He scheduled a follow up for two months later. Everything from scheduling the appointment to walking out after the visit went perfectly. They are all very professional. k This is a model of what every podiatry practice should be like.

  • He is very professional.  I got in the day after I called which was very impressive.  His assistant, who did the x-ray work did a good job.  He made some commitment about calling in a week that was not kept.  I couldn’t make up for the follow up appointment because I was not in town.  The doctor and receptionist were good.

  • I have seen Dr. Richer twice now for ingrown toenail issues on both feet. I was able to get in to his office quickly and did not have any wait for my appointment. He knew exactly what to do. His interactions with me were excellent explaining everything and asking for my input. He was sensitive to the fact that I didn't want horrible looking toenails after the procedure so that I would feel like I couldn't wear sandals. The procedures were painless with minimal discomfort afterwards. Once they healed they looked perfect. You would not know I had had anything done. I was extremely happy with the care I received from Dr. Richer and would definitely highly recommend him to anyone.
